“The Black Knight : The man who guards me” fails at the last moment...

Overall I found this drama pretty interesting and the last few episodes kept solving the build-up of several theories but the end crushed my expectations to pieces. Both Sharon and Baek Hee had meaningless deaths. I really liked Baek Hee and her life was awfully long and painful, but she wanted to simply die. As for Sharon, she should have suffered more! But she had an unfulfilled lonely end and welcomed death with her unpleasant attitude. Soo Ho became immortal, which was the most upsetting turn of events and it didn’t really make sense even though they explained that Boon Yi had wished upon the ring for immortality. Eventually Hae Ra starts to age and Soo Ho’s immortality turns into a curse for the couple. While Hae Ra shows her discomfort with her ascending age, Soo Ho bares the pain of watching a loved one grow old and start a new journey with death. Hae Ra is shown reminiscing about his love and looking extremely lonely. With never ending problems and evil hurdles I was expecting a happy ending for the couple.
