Did Shahid Kapoor's performance in Haider almost overshadow Tabu's?

Shahid Kapoor just completed eighteen years in Bollywood. The star with nearly two decades of experience has had his fair share of ups and downs, but that's never stopped him from being brilliant onscreen.

Inarguably, one of the best movies he's starred in is Haider. Vishal Bhardwaj's adaptation of Hamlet in the backdrop of Kashmir remains to be a masterpiece. Cast along with Tabu and Kay Kay Menon, Shahid really managed to stun everyone. And to be able to manage that when Tabu is in the same film is a great feat. Shahid's monologue which was one of the direct references to Shakespeare's Hamlet became sensational. It's true that Tabu's role required more subtlety, but Shahid's high powered role shone in the movie.

With his acting chops now praised by many, do you think he outperformed Tabu in the movie?
