Indian celebs whose silence is killing us

Despite International celebs creating abuzz on Twitter recently and making the entire world witness of the ongoing farmers protest in India, many have still been wondering why are our kwn "Biggies" and the so-called "Heroes of the masses" still silent on the matter? The same reason why hashtags like #spinelesscelebs were seen trending yesterday on Twitter. So here's me Jasdeep Singh telling you the list of "Indian celebs whose silence is killing us".

1. Amitabh Bacchan Amitabh Bacchan is probably the biggest star in the history of Bollywood as we know it. Having been on the receiving end of widespread love, respect and affection throughout his entire career spanning more than half a century, people have been begging the Mahanayak to present his views clearly on the issue after a cryptic tweet by the Megastar through his twitter handle recently.

2. Shahrukh Khan SRK has been the poster boy of Bollywood on a global level for over a decade now. Having followers all around the globe it is nothing but utterly disappointing to see the king choosing to remain silent on the issue.

3. Aamir Khan Aamir Khan has made a name for himself by being on the frontline on matters of public interest and those pertaining to social causes. With shows like Satyamev Jayate and movies like PK and Taare Zameen Par the actor has never shied away towards spreading a message and making the world a better place. Only this time things seem to be a little different.

4. Ayushmann Khurrana Choosing to do movies that try to bring change in the society with a tincture of social message has garnered the Article 15 star lots of love and appreciation from the entire nation. The same reason why many are still expecting some 'real' life concern and not utter ignorance from the star on matters that the entire world is talking about.

5. Ranveer Singh Lately Ranveer Singh has been quite vocal about a lot of things such as the kind of peanut butter he eats, the movie he's about to do and those steamy photo-shoots he is doing. Kudos to the actor. Maybe he just does not know about it yet. Or maybe that's what we would like to believe!

In the end we would like to say that celebs are part of the public and if we claim that each individual has a social and moral responsibility towards the society as a whole then why do celebs make an exception at a time like this and that too when they could really bring a change? As per a twitter user "We should choose our heroes wisely." We leave it to you to decide. ~J
