Is Kartik Aryan overrated? Is he getting good offers because of being in the inner circle of Bollywood?

Let's have a look at his work in the past to judge!

Kartik Aaryan started his career in 2011 with Luv Ranjan's film Pyaar Ka Punchnama. The movie was a hit among the audience and Kartik's characters' four minutes monologue was iconic.

His next film was Akaash Vani, followed by Kanchi-The Unbreakable. Both movies were not a commercial hit but Kartik's acting and presence were appreciated by the critics. In 2015, Luv Ranjan's comedy sequel Pyar Ka Punchnama 2 became a major financial success. Kartika delivered an even longer monologue of 7 minutes in the movie.

The following, Kartik was seen in Guest in London which was a flop and his acting was overshadowed by Paresh Rawal, his co-star. Finally, in 2018, Aaryan had a breakthrough with Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. The movie was a box-office hit and it opened the doors into Mainstream Bollywood for Aaryan. After this, Kartik got wider variety of roles. Lukka Chuppi and Pati, Patni Our Woh were commercially successful but Aaryaj's acting in both the movies was mediocre at best. Then, Kartik's only release of 2020, Love Aaj Kal ended up as a box office bomb. His acting was criticised by almost all the critics and the audience. This was the lowest point of his career. He has some good and big movies lined up for him. Let's see if his career graph gets better or just keeps on going downhill.
