LIFE IN A YEAR REVIEW: A CLICHÉ BUT BEAUTIFUL MOVIE!

Though “LIFE IN A YEAR” movie is yet another cancer based teen romance, it still somehow keeps you hooked. The movie stars Jaden Smith and Cara Delevingne in the lead roles. Daryn (Jaden Smith) a high school track athlete, whose father wants him to go to Harvard, has a fond towards rapping. Whereas Isabelle (Cara) is a strong headed, fierce individual with a year to live. The two meet each other at a concert and its love at first sight for Daryn who asks her out on a date the next day at her workplace with some of his rapper skills.

After getting to know about her condition, Daryn comes with an idea to plan all the milestones of life like buying a house, meeting the parents, getting married with Isabelle in the year she has left. Jaden who makes a comeback to acting is exceptionally brilliant along with Cara who did a great job in expressing the emotions and pain her character goes through. The movie’s message to live in the moment and that life doesn’t go according to our plans is quite relatable given the times we had. The movie also stars Cuba Gooding Jr, Chris D’Elia and Nia Long. So, if you are a fan of Jaden Smith’s acting then you should watch the film. Available on Prime.
