Prison Break: A show that stirred action genre in television

Created by Paul Scheuring, this action drama series gave a unique spin to a prison break story. Here, a man Michael Scofield (played Wentworth Miller) goes inside a prison to help his brother Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) escape as he has been falsely accused. If the premise doesn't seem interesting enough to you, each and every episode is fast-paced filled with nail-biting suspenseful sequences. The first two seasons are especially unput downable. The show loses its momentum in the third season but picks up the pace in the fourth and final season. A revival fifth season was aired in 2017 which received mixed responses. Despite the average performance of the recent season, Prison Break still remains one of the best shows to binge on at any moment. With an interesting set of characters, a fast-moving plot, and a strong setting, its worth your time.
