Rose Day 2021: The perfect guide to Romantic Bollywood Movies

Well of course the Valentine's week is here. The time when we celebrate love, romance and togetherness. And today marks the beginning of the Valentines week with Rose Day. Rose Day is celebrated annually on 7th of February followed by propose day, chocolate day, teddy day, promise day, hug day, kiss day, and then finally Valentine’s day. And what better way to start off the Valentine's week with a perfect Romantic Bollywood Saga? So here's me Jasdeep Singh telling you, " Rose Day 2021: The perfect guide to Romantic Bollywood Movies".

1. Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na This 2008 romantic drama about two best friends Jai(Imran Khan) and Aditi(Genelia D'Souza) is arguably the sweetest rom-com ever made by our beloved filmmakers. A delightful screenplay coupled with some amazing soundtrack might just be your one way ticket into falling in love all over again.

2. Dum Laga Ke Haisha This not so stereotypical YRF venture is all about discovering true love after a couple is forced into an arranged marriage. Set amidst Haridwar of 1990's you'll witness some heart warming performances from the entire cast especially the debutant Bhumi Padnekar as Sandhya. 'Moh Moh ke Dhaage' is a song that'll stay with you for a long time.

3. Love Aaj Kal The one with Saif and Deepika! Imtiaz Ali's directorial masterpiece this 2009 feature film is one of Saif's finest works. With quotes like "Saccha pyar jo ek baar hota hai, True Love!" this movie is a heartful depiction of how two people meet, fall in love, and then find their way back to each other.

4. Wake Up Sid A confused teenage boy with no ambitions meets a sophisticated aspiring girl from another city who teaches him the meaning of life. And also inspires him to "Wake Up!" Well now you know the title. Add some soulful music to it and you have this refreshingly romantic drama that is bound to put you in the mood for love.

5. Namaste London This award winning Romantic Bollywood Drama movie directed and produced by Vipul Shah is about a British wayward Jazz(Katrina Kaif) who under her father's pressure marries a Punjabi Farmer Arjun(Akshay Kumar). And now it's all about that "Sacchi mohabbat" to take over to try and convince Jazz not to break the marriage.

And that was the list guys. Hope you have an amazing weekend. And up until next time, see you soon. ~J
