Salman Khan to Donate Rs 1,500 each to 25,000 Cine Workers. What more can be done?

Radhe actor Salman Khan will be providing financial assistance to 25,000 film industry workers by donating Rs 1,500 each. As per TOI reports, this amount will be credited directly into the accounts of these workers. These donations are done with an aim to help the workers sustain during the lockdown-like restrictions. Also, B.N. Tiwari, President of Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) mentioned about Yash Raj Films extending their support towards 35,000 senior citizen cine workers by donating Rs 5000 each and monthly ration. While this is a great initiative by both, Salman Khan and YRF, we all need to do more than this. Though Rs 1,500 might provide some financial relief, severely affected families might need extra help. Big production houses should understand the crisis and provide with the resources to the workers affected by COVID-19. By taking inspiration from Radhe makers, others should also promise to donate a bit of profit received from their films. What suggestions will you give to help the daily-wage Bollywood workers?
