Should “Bombay Begums” be removed from Netflix or is that too extreme?

The brand new show “Bombay Begums” is undergoing a lot of controversies right now. It’s a newly released show about five women from different parts of society trying to get ahead in modern Mumbai. The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights has ordered Netflix to immediately stop streaming “Bombay Begums” due to certain scenes showing kids doing drugs, such as cocaine.

Netflix has asked for some time to look into it before they take it to Court. Do you agree that these types of scenes in shows and movies are “normalizing” the idea of kids using drugs? Or is there such a thing as freedom of speech within the arts? It is common knowledge that shows and movies influence society’s ways of thinking.

However, I also believe that parents should be in charge of censoring what their kids watch and what they’re influenced by. This is a tricky one, and I can see the argument on both sides. What do you think? Should “Bombay Begums” be removed from Netflix or is that too extreme?
