Sid Sriram - The Arijit Singh of the South Indian Film Industry?

Everybody who follows the South Indian Industry knows the name ‘Sid Sriram’. Almost every film releasing these days has at least one song which is sung by Sid Sriram. His recent SUPERHITs include Samajavaragamana (Ala Vaikuntapurramlo), Uyire, Emo Emo (Raahu), Emai Poyave (Padi Padi Leche Manasu) and Kadalalle (Dear Comrade).

Most of his songs, by observation, fall under the ‘Romance’ genre - so much so, that today, if someone thinks of a romantic number in their film, they think of Sid Sriram. His voice seems to have some complex feelings of loss and longing, as well as immense love and tenderness.

All these things make us wonder if Sid Sriram has become the Arijit Singh of Tollywood or the South Indian Film Industry? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
