So this is why celebs toned down on their lifestyle posts on social media

Several Bollywood celebs were criticized for flaunting their vacation pictures from the Maldives while the country was literally gasping for breath due to the deadly second wave of the COVID-19. From Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt to Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani, all these names quickly left for the Island country to enjoy and take sun-kissed pictures while bodies were piling up in graveyards and crematoriums. According to a report by Mint, several brand and talent managers told celebs to tone down with their display of privilege and wealth in the middle of a crisis. The reason behind it that most brands would not want to associate themselves with a name that is out of sync with the current situation. Now, a number of stars are either amplifying SOS calls on social media or donating some amount of money for oxygen cylinders, oxygen concentrators or food packets, etc. So this proves that Bollywood stars had to be told to not display their privilege because brands won't call them for ads, is a pretty sad affair of things.
