Sonam Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, and the saga of starkids who debuted well then stopped trying

There's a lot of hate and trolling directed towards star kids, as evident by things online. This was only heightened because of the nepotism scenario that Kangana Ranaut had pointed in Koffee With Karan. Since then, the audience has observed the family connection in Bollywood even more so than usual. Filmy families like the Kapoors have been around for generations, but it's the more new set of actors being called out for their privilege.

While actors like Sonam Kapoor, and Arjun Kapoor are often told off for being in the industry only because of their family, Sara Ali Khan is the latest to face backlash. But if we go back a few years and look at their debut, the surprise is that it's not all bad. Arjun Kapoor's Ishaqzaade was highly appreciated, and at the time, many felt that he had some great potential as an actor. Similarly, Sonam Kapoor had started her journey with Saawariya where her acting seemed genuine. Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan was very likable in Kedarnath. So what happened after that?
