Times when K-pop was plagiarized by Indian artists

K-pop plagiarism still continues in bollywood. Recently, an Indian artist Tony Kakkar was under fire for cloning the concept of Blackpink and Selena Gomez's hit collaboration 'Ice cream'. The song's music video titled 'Booty Shake' have many citations which seems to be conceptualized from the k-pop MV. The k-pop fans, especially the blinks spotted the similarities between the two MVs, including the use of the same set and outfits, with their Nancy Drew skills. This is not the first time, k-pop has evidenced plagiarism from Indian artists. Back in the days, hindi rapper Raftar was accused for snitching the exact direction of the plot for his music video 'MANTOIYAT,' which originally belonged to BTS' RM's solo release of 2015 'Do You'. Many other Korean artists and idol groups including Big Bang's Taeyang, G-Dragon, EXO and GOT7 were plagiarized by Indian artists. Can't they think of more novel concepts to come up with? What a drought of thoughts!
