Why Karan Johar’s talent agency DCA did not launch Babil Khan?

Babil Khan is all set to make his debut in Bollywood with 'Qala' starring opposite Bulbbul actress Triptii Dimri, also featuring Swastika Mukherjee in a pivotal role. The film is produced by Anushka Sharma and Karnesh Sharma's Clean State filmz and directed by Bulbbul director Anvita Dutt Guptan.

On the other hand, Karan Johar’s talent company Dharma Cornerstone Agency has been welcoming talents like Tripiti Dimri, Lakshya and Gurfateh Pirzada. Actor Anil Kapoor’s niece Shanaya Kapoor is also set to make her Bollywood debut through Dharma Cornerstone Agency. Earlier, Karan Johar has launched Bollywood insiders like Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor and Ananya Panday. However, it is interesting to notice that Babil Khan, who is notable actor Late Irrfan Khan’s son and technically another Starkid is not launched by Karan Johar.

Is it because Babil does not belong to Karan Johar’s inner circle? Or is it because Babil is following his father’s footsteps and does not want to get into the kind of massy films that Dharma makes? Comment your thoughts below.
