Why Salman Joining Pathan Can Make It The First 500 Crore Blockbuster in Bollywood

Even though it was only meant to be a formality, but Salman Khan has confirmed that he will make a cameo in Shah Rukh-John starrer Pathan. What does that mean? That means the big-budget Yashraj production has taken a step ahead in turning its box office chances into a fortune. Of course Salman joining Shah Rukh isn't a guarantee for success, we saw how Tubelight and Zero had disastrous box office outings despite both actors making camero appearances in each other's films. But Pathan is different, let me explain!

Salman Reprising Tiger: While it was Shah Rukh and Salman as anonymous actors who chose to make cameos in Tubelight and Zero, this time Salman Khan will be reprising his most loved Tiger avatar. That alone can make his fans rush to the theaters. Tiger is a character that is immensely loved by the masses and the box office numbers of both Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai sort of prove that.

John, Deepika, Shah Rukh & Salman - The names couldn't get bigger for a film that is being mounted on a budget of over 250 crores. With such a stellar cast board, Salman's addition makes it a possible entrant in the 500 crore club that no Hindi film production has been able to do so far.

Possible Introduction to Tiger 3: With reports of Salman-Katrina coming together for Tiger 3 are on a high, Pathan may give a hint of what that film could be about. Being a spy film, no one has a clue of Tiger's whereabouts and this camero might just give us a hint.

Action Just Got Bigger: It is possible Salman may do an action sequence in Pathan and that will make way for something really really big in theaters. Single theaters will go berserk when Salman, John and Shah Rukh will come together to pull off an action sequence.

With Bahubali 2 Hindi version being the only film that has crossed the 500 crore mark at the box office, Pathan has the chance of leaving that record behind. We've heard all the stories about Pathan to be exciting and this could mean we are in for something really really big this year. I'm counting on this one.
