Will Bollywood Ever See Nora Fatehi As More Than A Dancer?

Nora Fatehi has captured all our hearts with hits like Dilbar, Saki Saki, and recently Chhor Denge. Just a few days ago, Nora was awarded the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke award as the entertainer of the year. From participating in Jhalak Dikhla Ja to judging India’s Best Dancer along with ace choreographer Geeta Kapur, Nora has had a roller-coaster journey in the entertainment industry. But the question is, can Bollywood look at Nora beyond the image of a professional dancer?

Nora believes that the person who can dance is also the person who can act since dancers convey their emotions through their facial expressions. But there are many cases in Bollywood where a performer often gets typecasted, be it Kirron Kher as the ‘Punjabi Mother’ or Alok Nath as the ‘Sanskaari Babuji.’ Nora believes that she is far from getting typecasted as she has had full-fledged roles in movies like Batla House and Street Dancer.

Nora believes that it is not her sex-appeal but the performer in her that keeps her growing as an artist. Do you think Nora can break stereotypes and emerge as a successful dancer-actor in Bollywood?
