Katy Perry, Future, BLACKPINK’s Lisa and more to headline 2026 FIFA World Cup Opening Ceremony
Here is the list of the performers heading to the 2026 World Cup Opening Ceremony.
FIFA has officially confirmed the lineup of artists who will perform at the upcoming 2026 World Cup Opening Ceremony. As a part of the awaited lineup, singers Michael Bublé, Alanis Morissette, and Alessia Cara, Katy Perry, and Future, DJ Sanjoy, and LISA of K-pop group BLACKPINK have been confirmed to lead the pack. As the upcoming football World Cup will be held across three host countries, three different opening ceremonies have been arranged in the United States of America, México, and Canada.
2026 World Cup Opening Ceremony lineup confirmed
Of the announced names, different sets of singers will lead the ceremonies at separate venues. Following is the breakdown of the opening ceremony performance lineup:
- USA: Katy Perry, Future, Anitta, Rema, Tyla, DJ Sanjoy
- México: Maná, Alejandro Fernández, Belinda
- Canada: Michael Bublé, Alanis Morissette, Alessia Cara
FIFA President Gianni Infantino shared, “This opening ceremony in Los Angeles represents the extraordinary scale of what the FIFA World Cup 2026 will become. The lineup of artists reflects the cultural diversity of the United States and the vibrancy of its many diasporas, highlighting the nation’s rich influence on music, entertainment, and pop culture, while showcasing the power of music to bring people together across the country.”
Lisa of BLACKPINK will be at the So-Fi Stadium for the USA Opening Ceremony on June 12 at 4:30 pm local time, just 90 minutes ahead of the opening match between the United States and Paraguay. More performers are expected to be revealed as we get closer to the date of the event.
Moreover, FIFA will also hold a special ceremony in Houston and Philadelphia on July 4 to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States Independence Day.
