Spinner Kuleep Yadav's rise in Indian cricket ever since he made his debut in 2017 has been nothing short of inspiring. The left-arm wrist spinner has played a huge role along with spin twin Yuzvendra Chahl in India's rise to the top in the last two years.

His ability to pick wickets consistently in the middle overs has helped the Men in Blue get crucial breakthroughs. The youngster is now on the cusp on a record, which he will look to overhaul during the 3rd ODI against Windies that will be played on Wednesday.

Kuldeep has 96 wickets from 53 ODIs to his name thus far, and if he gets four more wickets, he will become the fastest Indian to get to 100 scalps. He was well on route of becoming the fastest to 100 wickets in the world, but a disappointing World Cup, where he picked only 6 wickets in seven games meant that he missed the chance.

However, Kuldeep can still become the fastest Indian to the record, beating Mohammad Shami's feat, which he achieved in 56 games. In his two-year old career thus far, Kuldeep has already picked up four 4-wicket hauls and one 5-wicket haul.
