Team India were led by yet another scintillating knock from skipper Virat Kohli, as the side went on to win the third and final ODI by six wickets against West indies at Trinidad. After winning the toss and batting first, Windies put up a good total of 240 in 35 overs (the overs were reduced due to a three-hour break), courtesy Chris Gayle and Evin Lewis' fifties.

Gayle scored a crucial 72 in 41 balls in his last ODI, while Lewis scored 43 in only 29 balls as the hosts put up 115 for the first wicket. It allowed the side to get a good foundation, and the batters to follow played crucial cameos after the rain break to help the team post 240.

Set a target of 255 after DLS calculations, Team India lost Rohit Sharma early, before Fabian Allen got Shikhar Dhawana nd Rishabh Pant in the same over. Shreyas Iyer and Kohli then shared a 120-run partnership, in which the former contributed with a quickfire 65 from only 41 balls. The captain, on the other hand, kept his end up as Iyer was firing on all cylinders, and got his 43rd ton - also his third 50+ score in three successive innings (he had got a fifty in the third T20I against Windies, and scored a hundred in the second ODI).

His innings kept India well on course to clinch the series, and he walked away with the Man of the Series award as well. He is now only six hundreds short of equalling Sachin Tendulkar's record of 49 tons in ODI cricket.

This is how Twitter reacted to Kohli's hundred.
