With the ODI and T20I series done and dusted Team India will now shift their focus on the upcoming two-match Test series starting Thursday at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua.

The Virat Kohli led side has been lethal so far in the series with batting and bowling department putting up a splendid show so far.
The start of Test series will also see both the team starting their journey in the ICC Test Championship.

Coming to the Indian side for the red-ball format, some of the Test specialist players have come into the side. Team India will be focussed on making a winning start to the championship, but the real focus will be on players who want to prove a point.

Let's have a look at such players who would like to create an impact on the test series.

Rohit Sharma
The 'Hitman' has been in fantastic form for the past couple of month starting from the 2019 World Cup in England. There is no doubt he is one of the finest limited-overs batsmen, but when its comes to the longest format of the game Rohit has failed to deliver.
The Mumbai batsman scored back to back centuries on his test debut in 2013 against the same opposition. Since the spectacular debut, he failed to nail down a spot in the test side due to inconsistency. His last Test series was against  Australia was not a good one as he got injured after the first two series. Its time for redemption and  Rohit will be eager to prove his point to the selectors.

Ajinkya Rahane
Team India's vice-captain will be under pressure to save his spot in the playing XI. The middle-order batsman has had a poor run with the bat in recent times. Rahane's last test century came in August 2017 in Sri Lanka where he scored 132. Since then he has got starts but has failed to score big runs which is a cause of concern for India. With the indifferent form of openers in recent times, Kohli and Pujara have held the innings together. The tour of the Carribean nation gives Rahane a chance to find his mojo back.

KL Rahul
He may possess all the quality to be a good batsman, yet the Karnataka cricketer has failed to deliver on the international stage.
Inspite f being a regular member in the national side, his form in the past one year has no been impressive at all. After a poor outing in the last three-Test series against England, West Indies and Australia, the opener would like to deliver big scores in the two-match series
With Prithvi Shaw and Mayank Agarwal waiting in the wings, Rahul needs to make an instant impact to save his place in the Test side.

Ravichandran Ashwin
There is no doubt the Ashwin is India's first choice format in red-ball cricket. While he is devastating on the home condition, his performance in overseas conditions has certainly not been that great which is a problem for the team.
With  Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav in the mix for a spot in playing XI, Ashwin will have a big challenge to keep his spot in the side
Ashwin has done pretty well in the Caribbeans on previous tours. Picking up 17 wickets in four matches. He once has to find his mojo back and deliver for his team in order to remain in contention as the automatic first-choice spinner.
