Kagiso Rabada the leader of the South Africa bowling attack had the whole world talking about him at a very young age thanks to his exploits with the ball. His raw pace and toe crushing yorkers tormented the best batsman in the world.

Over the year's things have changed for the South African pacer. With the emergence of Jasprit Bumrah and England's Jofra Archer, things have changed drastically.

While Rabada failed to lift South Africa's performance especially in the World Cup, Bumrah led India to the semi-final of the World Cup, while Archer helped England win the cup for the first time.

The Proteas are in India to play three T20Is and as many Tests with the series starting later this month. Rabada took a dig at media for creating hype around certain players.

“I admire those bowlers, they are good bowlers,” Rabada told iol.co.za. “However, the media hypes certain players, and that’s okay. I know I have been playing very well. Archer is such a natural talent; Bumrah is doing wonders, and that can force you to lift your game. You are not always at the top, that’s one thing I can tell you.”

Rabada last played in India during this year’s Indian Premier League when he helped Delhi Capitals make it to the playoffs. “Excited to be back in India and looking forward to playing cricket again,” Rabada wrote on Twitter ahead of the start of the series.
