Former Indian skipper Rahul Dravid, who is currently the coach of India A and India U19 and also heads the National Cricket Academy's Cricket Operations in Bengaluru, has been given a notice by the BCCI's Ethics Officer for Conflict of Interest charges.

BCCI's Ethics Officer Justice (Retd) DK Jain got a complaint from the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association life member Sanjeev Gupta, and then sent the notice to Dravid.

According to Gupta, Dravid is the NCA Director, along with being the vice-president of India Cements, which owns the IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings.

"Yes, I have sent a notice to Mr. Rahul Dravid last week after receiving a complaint. He has been given two weeks to reply to the allegations of Conflict of Interest. Based on his reply, I will decide whether to proceed further or not," Justice Jain confirmed the development to PTI

The 'Wall', as he is often called, will have to send a reply by August 16, and might have to appear for a hearing in person as well.

Earlier, players like Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman have all been involved in Conflict of Interest allegations as well. The duo of Tendulkar and Laxman were in the news for being a member of the Cricket Advisory Committee as well as mentors of their respective IPL franchises - Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Ganguly was also in the news after Bhaswati Santua alleged that he was both the Cricket Association of Bengal President and the mentor of Delhi Capitals for the IPL earlier this year.
