The Board of Control for Cricket in India posted a video of Indian cricketers on Twitter, as they wished the country on the occasion of their 73rd Independence Day. Just as the clock turned 12 in India, the BCCI posted the video even as the Men in Blue were out on the field playing the third ODI against Windies. The side managed to clinch the third and final ODI, as they sealed the series 2-0.

In the post shared by the board, skipper Virat Kohli termed the day as the "most iconic day in the hisory of the country", whereas Kedar Jadhav wished the fans in Marathi. Indian opener Rohit Sharma, along with spin trio of Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravindra Jadeja too wished the countrymen, as did coach Ravi Shastri.

Kohli, later, took to Twitter to wish fans on his personal Twitter account as well.

This is how fans reacted to the video posted by BCCI.
