While shooting for his next in the city, Saqib decided to share some of this delicious food with his crew members. So he treated the entire film crew to Biryani from the restaurant on the sets. In the slightly wintry weather of Delhi, this spiced rich treat was much appreciated by his crew.

Actors Piyush Mishra, Amit Sadh and Taapsee Pannu have shared the frame for a short film "The Homecoming", which aims to tell the importance of a family.

The film is for online furniture store Urban Ladder, and delves into the thought that a home is built by a family that lives in it and not the furniture.

The seven-minute film, which has the festival of Diwali as its backdrop, captures the journey of a couple to move into their son’s home, when the son and his wife make them feel at home with thoughtful changes in the house.

Actress Taapsee Pannu, who is a teetotaler in real life, has turned down an offer to endorse a liquor brand. She says she refused to be associated with the brand as she "doesn't want to propagate" consumption of alcohol.

After gunmen opened fire inside a bus carrying Ismaili Shia Muslims in the Pakistani port city of Karachi killing 45 people on Wednesday, celebrities like Pakistani actor-singer Ali Zafar and Bollywood star Arjun Rampal were left in shock.

The incident took place near the city's Safoora Chowk area in the provincial capital of Sindh. At least 45 people were killed and 24 injured when the gunmen opened fire.

Ali, who ventured into tinsel town with the Bollywood satire film "Tere Bin Laden" in 2010, took to micro-blogging website Twitter on Wednesday to express his grief.

Actresses Trisha Krishnan and Taapsee Pannu have been finalised for filmmaker Selvaraghavan's next yet-untitled Tamil outing with actor Silambarasan aka Simbu. The project will go on the floors in the first week of May.

Danish badminton player Mathias Boe, who is coming to India for a badminton tournament, will not be able to spend time with his girlfriend, actress Taapsee Pannu due to her busy schedule.

Boe will be visiting Lucknow for the tournament which will start Jan 17.

Actress Taapsee Pannu considers herself "lucky" to have been unanimously accepted in southern filmdom as well as Bollywood in a short span of four years since her cinematic debut in Telugu film "Jhummandi Naadam".

The shooting of Shoojit Sircar's production “Running Shaadi.com” has been wrapped up. The film is a romantic-comedy starring Amit Sadh and Taapsee Pannu and has been directed by debutante director Amit Roy.

The film went on floors in the end of October and concluded Dec 10, said a statement.

Director-producer Shoojit Sircar, who has roped in "Chashme Baddoor" fame actress Taapsee Pannu for his "Running Shaadi.com", marvels at her acting skills.

In the film, Taapsee is paired with Amit Sadh of "Kai Po Che!" fame, who recommended her name to the filmmaker.
