"Mary Kom" fame director Omung Kumar says he will start shooting his next film, based on World War II, by mid-October 2015.

Kumar told IANS: "It's a period film and I feel their stories haven't been told on screen. I will shoot in some real locations and also create a set. I will start shooting by mid-October."

The film, which will also touch upon emotions and love, is tentatively titled "War".

Kumar said it will be a multi-starrer film with one lead actor.

"Mary Kom" star Priyanka Chopra says the team of her debut film production "Madamji" is currently giving finishing touches to its script and finalising its cast. She is glad Madhur Bhandarkar is on board to direct the project as she trusts him immensely.

The Assam government Wednesday announced exemption of entertainment tax on "Mary Kom", a new Bollywood movie on the World champion woman boxer from Manipur.

"As the movie revolves around boxer Mary Kom, the pride of the northeast and the country as a whole, we have decided to exempt it from entertainment tax," Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi said here.
