Like Aamir cross promoted Ghajini when SRK's Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi had released, Akshay's Jolly LLB 2 makers cross promoted the film with the release of Dangal. The theatre staff were given black robe that the lawyers wear while a huge hammer was installed at many venues, indicating that the trailer of the film would be previewed inside.

"Bajrangi Bhaijaan" director Kabir Khan on Friday termed "Jolly LLB" his my favourite movie at the special screening of its maker and National Award recipient Subhash Kapoor's latest outing "Guddu Rangeela".

"Very excited for 'Guddu Rangeela'... I love Subhash's films and I love Arshad's work. 'Jolly LLB' is my favorite film," he said.

Kabir Khan is currently busy promoting his Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor-starrer.

Subhash Kapoor is going to screen his latest directorial "Guddu Rangeela" for his team of National Award-winning film "Jolly LLB".

"'Jolly LLB' was a dream run for all of us, so I decided to have the first ever screening of 'Guddu Rangeela' for the 'Jolly LLB' team. I am looking forward to yet another get together with Boman Irani, Saurabh Shukla, Amrita Rao and others, and share 'Guddu Rangeela' with them," Kapoor said in a statement.

"Guddu Rangeela" stars Arshad Warsi and Amit Sadh as two bumbling criminals who run an orchestra party.

Arshad Warsi-starrer "Jolly LLB", a successful courtroom drama, will soon be remade in Tamil. The remake, which will be helmed by I. Ahmed, will feature actor-politician Udhayanidhi Stalin in the lead.

"It's true that I'm playing the lead in the Tamil remake of 'Jolly LLB'. We start shooting from August 20," Udhayanidhi told IANS.

The rest of the cast for the yet-untitled remake will be finalised soon.

Ahmed and Udhayanidhi were supposed to start working on Tamil romantic-drama "Idhayam Murali".

Boman Irani, who played a corrupt lawyer in "Jolly LLB", is overjoyed at the film being named the Best Hindi Film at the 61st National Film Awards.

Boman believes that the film spoke about change and that's what made it successful.

Indian films "Jolly LLB" and "Murder 3" have been invited to feature at the forthcoming 16th Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF), which will be held June 15-23.

Director Vishesh Bhatt's "Murder 3", co-produced by Fox Star Studios and Vishesh Films, is an erotic thriller, while "Jolly LLB", a Fox Star Studios production, is an entertaining courtroom comedy.

Actor Arshad Warsi has wrapped up shooting of his new film "Jolly LLB" and calls the entire experience of working on the film "wonderful".

"Celebrated the completion of 'Jolly LLB' last night after pack up with the entire cast and crew. 'Jolly LLB has been such a wonderful experience," Arshad tweeted.

"I am always on a lookout for scripts like Jolly LLB, sadly one does not come by scripts like 'JOLLY LLB' too often. Extremely grateful to Fox Star Studios and Subhash Kapur for making and casting me in it," he posted. The film also features actress Amrita Rao.

It seems that Arshad Warsi is having a great time on the sets of his two upcoming projects "Jolly LLB" and "Zilla Ghaziabad", as the roles are completely different from each other.

"Gd mrng tweeps -- got my 'Zilla Ghaziabad' unit n my 'Jolly LLB' unit, both in Panchgani. I have converted from a bad guy of ZG to a good lawyer for 'Jolly LLB' (sic)," Arshad posted on his Twitter page.

"I am so fortunate to get two good films with completely contrasting characters to play back to back. Both my films will release next year," he added.
