Rumours build up more hype about n upcoming product more than the actual launch event. And when it comes to any launches related the Apple and their upcoming products. Everyone wants to know what is happening in that space. Apple has been rewriting many conventional rules around production, technological advances and consumer needs ever since the launch of the first iPhone. The new iPhone 13, the air pods and the Apple Watch 7 were no exception. Apple continues to surprise us despite the numerous leaks and rumours.

To watch the Summarised 10 Min video of Apple's September 2021 iPhone 13 Launch Event, watch the above video on YouTube.

The design language of the iPhone 13 Pro series is very similar to that of the 12 Pro series. The most visible change is the smaller notch that houses the front camera and the face recognition sensor, which is smaller by 20% or the last year's notch on the 12 series of iPhones. The rear camera module is larger when compared to that of the 12 Pro series as the iPhone 13 Pro and the 13 Pro Max have larger image sensors for better low light performance. This year the 13 Pro gets the sensor-shift technology just like its bigger brother iPhone 13 Pro Max. Last year, the sensor-shift technology was available only to the iPhone 12 Pro Max phones.

The Display on the iPhone 13 Pro series phones comes with Apple's ProMotion Technology with an adaptive refresh rate that can drop down to 10Hz for website browsing and scale up to 120Hz for content viewing or gaming. The new A15 Bionic chip is faster than the last years A14 Bionic. The 5-core GPU also improves graphics performance significantly. Apple has also provided a larger battery for better all-day usage and 1TB of storage for the first time in an iPhone.

The iPhone 13 Pro starts at $999 and the Pro Max starts at $1,099

iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini

Remove the 3rd camera sensor and the ProMotion display for the iPhone 13 Pro series and you get the iPhone 13 series. The iPhone 13 sports the same Bionic processor as the iPhone 13 Pro lineup and also house sensor-shift technology in one of the rear camera sensors. (yes even the 13 Mini has sensor-shift technology). The iPhone 13 lineup also get a larger battery for an over battery improvement over the iPhone 12 series.

The iPhone 13 starts at $799 and the iPhone 13 Mini starts at $699

Apple Watch Series 7

Design - We saw a gradual shift in the design language of Apple devices from the Apple iPhone 12 series. Quite honestly, this is a much-needed change. The design language for Apple's watch has remained mostly unchanged from the first Apple Watch to last years Apple Watch series 6. Most leaks and rumours around the Apple Watch Series 7 design hinted towards a sharper design(much like the iPhone 12 series). The Apple Watch Series 7 that Apple unveiled today was nowhere close to those leaks. Moreover, the design has remained unchanged and looks identical to that of the Apple Watch Series 6. However, the Series 7 features a much larger Display, thanks to the thinner bezels. Apple claims to have improved on the charging times and a host of Health-related features for the Series 7. Apple claims that the Series 7 of Apple Watch is the strongest yet with an IP6X dust rating and WR-50M water resistance rating.

iPad Mini

Perhaps the most unexpected unveiling was that of the iPad mini. The Mini now features an all-screen design with an 8.3-inch display housed in a small Mini display footprint. Both the front and the rear cameras have been updated to 12MP sensors. The front 12MP sensor is a wide-angle sensor that can now use the Center Stage feature which was exclusive to the Pro series of iPads launched earlier this year. The iPad Mini gets the new A13 Bionic processor that is 40% faster compared to the older A12 Bionic. The GPU on the iPad Mini is an eye-watering 80% faster when compared to the older GPU. The lightning port has now been replaced for the type-C port that supports external drives. This year, the iPad Mini also gets 5G connectivity.

The iPad Mini starts at $499

iPad

The most entry-level iPad gets the new A13 Bionic processor and the wide-angle which can use the Center Stage feature introduced first on the Pro line of iPads. Rest everything else about the iPad remains unchanged. Hence I mentioned it at the END.

The regular iPad will cost $329 with 64GB of storage.

Let's see, what the next Apple event this year has in store for us.
