Honor Play5 Youth launched with Dimensity 900; Specs, price and more
Honor launched the Play5 Youth smartphone in China. This smartphone runs on Android 11 based Magic UI 4.2 and is powered by a Dimensity 900 chipset. It has 8 GB RAM which is expandable up to 2 GB. The Play5 Youth has a Full HD+ display with 120 Hz screen refresh rate. The handset packs a 64 megapixel rear camera and a 16 megapixel front camera that is placed on the top left corner of the screen. This is a 5G smartphone and has GPU Turbo X. Honor Play5 Youth smartphone sports a 6.67 inch Full HD+ display with a screen refresh rate of 120 Hz and DCI-P3 coverage. The handset packs a Dimensity 900 chipset under the hood and runs on Magic UI 4.2 based on Android 11. It packs an 8 GB RAM that has support for virtual RAM expansion up to 2 GB with up to 256 GB internal storage capacity.
On the camera front, the device sports a dual camera setup at the back which is placed on the centre and includes a 64 megapixel primary sensor and a 2 megapixel depth sensor with LED flash light. The company has provided a front camera on the top left corner of the display and is 16 megapixel.
On the connectivity front, the handset has 5G connection, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5, a USB type-C port and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The device has a GPU Turbo X and a fingerprint reader that is mounted on the side of the device. The newly launched Play5 Youth packs a 4300 maH battery with a support for 66W fast charging.
Honor Play5 Youth smartphone: Price and availability
The all new Honor Play5 Youth smartphone is priced at CNY 1,799 which is roughly Rs 21,100 in Indian Currency for the 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage capacity variant while the 8 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage capacity variant costs CNY 1,999 which is roughly Rs 23,400 in Indian currency. The device is available on pre-order in Black and Blue colour options. The sales will start from 1st November in China.
