In its home market of China, iQOO, just introduced its latest iQOO 8 series flagship handsets. The company is getting ready to introduce the product in India. According to the launch timelines for the iQOO 7 and iQOO 8 series phones, the company would release an improved portfolio of its flagship smartphones in six to seven months.

The next-generation iQOO 9 Pro Indian edition has been spotted through IMEI certification, ahead of the debut of the iQOO 8 series in India. The phone has the model number I2022, indicating that it will be released next year. According to the rumor mills, the iQOO 9 series phone is to be announced by the end of the first quarter of 2022 if the company continues to do so. While the iQOO 8 Legend smartphone's launch date for the Indian market is unknown, the device is expected to be released before Diwali, which implies it might be released by the end of October or early November.

iQOO 8 Legend Specifications

The iQOO 8 Legend is likely to be a rebranded version of the iQOO 8 Pro, which is currently available in China. The iQOO 8 Legend is expected to integrate some good aspects in terms of display such as a 6.78-inch Samsung E5 LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels, 1500 nits peak brightness, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Dolby Vision. For enhanced security, it will be paired with an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone will ship with the Android 11 operating system pre-installed and will be powered by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 65W rapid charging, as well as wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.

The gadget will have a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 16-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 48-megapixel ultra-wide sensor in the photography area.
