In the past few weeks, the Moto E20 smartphone has been the subject of a number of leaks and reports. The phone’s press renders were already leaked recently. Now, putting a stop to the rumours, Motorola has finally quietly launched the Moto E20 smartphone via a blog post on its website. The Moto E20 has been introduced in Brazil at the moment, but is expected to be released to other markets like India in the near future. As expected, the Moto E20 has arrived as a budget offering with an appealing design.

Talking about the design first, the Motorola Moto E20 has a waterdrop notch on top of the screen to house. The device has slim bezels on the sides and a tad thick bottom bezel. At the rear, the smartphone has a hexagon pattern, which makes it appear appealing. There’s a large pill-shaped camera module on the top-left corner that houses two sensors and an LED flash unit. There’s also a Moto emblem at the rear, which hides a fingerprint sensor beneath.

Coming to the specs, the Motorola Moto E20 has a 6.5-inch LCD display bearing a resolution of 1,600 x 720 pixels, an aspect ratio of 20:9, and an 87 percent screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone has a Unisoc T606 processor, which is paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. Software-wise, the handset boots Android 11 (Go edition) out of the box.

In the camera department, the Moto E20 has a 13-megapixel primary camera on the back with an aperture of f/2.0. The smartphone has a 2-megapixel depth-sensing shooter as well, apart from an LED flash unit. For selfies and video calling purposes, the Moto E20 has a 5-megapixel shooter on the front. The connectivity options are standard including 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone socket. Powering the smartphone is a beefy 4,000mAh battery cell, which supports 10W charging.
