With the debut of the Oppo A56 5G in China, Oppo has added a new smartphone to its A-series lineup, elevating the company's A-series range to a new level. The OPPO A56 5G is the follow-up to the A55 5G, which was introduced in India not long ago. The new A56 5G has a design that is substantially identical to that of its predecessor, as well as a similar set of specifications. The phone boasts a dual-camera arrangement on the back and a waterdrop-style notch on the front. The MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC powers the Oppo A56 5G, which has a big 5,000mAh battery. The A56 5G is made entirely of metal and has a gradient back design. The back camera module is rectangular, with the two sensors stacked one on top of the other and the flash on the side. The A56 5G differed from the A55 5G in terms of the back design, since it had a dual-camera arrangement as compared to the A55's triple camera setup.
Oppo A56 5G Features
The Oppo A56 5G sport a 6.5-inch HD+ A-Si display with a 60Hz refresh rate, 120Hz touch sampling rate, 269ppi pixel density, 480 nits of peak brightness, 88.7% screen-to-body ratio, and 60Hz refresh rate, 120Hz touch sampling rate with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phone features a MediaTek Dimensity 700 octa-core processor combined with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU and 6GB of RAM. The gadget has a 128GB internal storage capacity and can be expanded with an SDXC card.
The Oppo A56 5G's dual rear camera combination consists of a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel portrait lens with f/2.4 aperture. The back camera has night scene mode, video, portrait, slow motion, time-lapse, and other features. On the front, the phone boasts an 8-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
A 5,000 mAh battery provides power to the A56 5G, which supports 10W charging. The new Oppo device will run Color OS 11.1, which is based on Android 11. A fingerprint scanner on the side and a headphone jack are among the other features. Dual-SIM (Nano) slots, USB Type-C connector, Bluetooth v5.1, Wi-Fi 5, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, and other connectivity choices are available. The phone weighs 189.5 kilos and dimensions 163.8x75.6x8.4mm.
Price
The 6GB + 128Gb of storage variant of the latest Oppo A56 5G costs CNY 1,599 (approximately Rs. 18,800) in China. Cloud Smoke Blue, Soft Fog Black, and Wind Chime Purple are the three colour possibilities for the phone. Pre-orders for the Oppo A56 5G are now open in China.
