Realme Watch T1 revealed, Features NFC, Bluetooth calling, and offline music playback
Today, Realme held an event in China to unveil two new smartphones, the GT Neo2T and Q3s. Realme also unveiled its first smartwatch in China, the Realme Watch T1. The watch to be frank seems to have the DNA of the currently selling OnePlus watch in India. Given the fact they all are sister companies, it would not be surprising if it is a rebranded one. From the comparison shots, we matched to find in fact the back resembles the OnePlus counterpart and tells the same story.
The Watch T1 includes features not found on previous Realme smartwatches sold in global markets, such as voice calls via Bluetooth 5.0, NFC for payments, and 4GB of onboard storage, which allows you to store up to 500 songs on the smartwatch and listen to music directly on your Bluetooth earphones/speakers without the need for a smartphone.
The Watch T1's other features are fairly standard. Sleep tracking, activity tracking with 110 sports modes, heart rate monitoring, stress monitoring, and blood oxygen level monitoring are all included. The last one can be measured while you sleep.
The Watch T1 features a 1.3-inch 416x416-pixel colour AMOLED screen protected by Gorilla Glass, custom watch faces, and an always-on display. The smartwatch includes breathing exercises, music and camera control, and a weather forecast. It also has built-in GPS with GLONASS, Galileo, and Beidou support, so you don't have to rely on your smartphone for accurate route tracking. Below is the translated version from the official product page.
The Realme Watch T1 is water-resistant to 50 metres and comes with a 228 mAh battery that is advertised to last up to seven days. The T1 also supports fast charging, with the bundled adapter claiming to charge the battery in 35 minutes.
The stainless steel frame of the Watch T1 is complemented by silicone or leather straps, depending on the model. The wearable is available in three colours: black, green, and black mint, with the latter featuring the text "Dare To Leap" on the straps.
The Realme Watch T1 costs CNY699 ($110/€95/₹8,300) and will be available for pre-order in China starting tomorrow, with sales beginning on November 1. If we compare the price in the Indian INR value it is a much competitive offering than the OnePlus Watch, which is retailed for nearly double the price in India.
