Samsung has started rolling out the Android 11 update for the Galaxy Tab Active Pro tablet globally. The latest firmware update for the tablet is being rolled out over the air. The new OS update for the device is being released in a phased manner, so not all the units of the tablet will be receiving the OS upgrade at the same time. The Android 11-based update for the Galaxy Tab Active Pro also brings the brand’s One UI 3.1 version as well. The tablet was originally launched last year with Android 9 Pie and One UI 2.0.

The latest OS update for the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro brings the One UI 3.1 custom skin from the brand. The new OS provides a handful of new visual updates as well as new features of the Android 11 version. The new firmware brings one-time permission for location and microphone, Dynamic lock screen options, enhanced Digital well-being features, improvements to the Quick Panel, and better security features. The update is currently rolling out to select users and will be released to the public in the coming days.

For those unaware, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a rugged mid-range Android tablet. The device comes with a 10.1-inch screen panel with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels. The mid-range Android tablet is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 octa-core processor, which is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage. The device has a microSD card slot as well to let you expand the memory further.

In the camera department, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro comes with a 13-megapixel primary shooter on the rear and an 8-megapixel selfie snapper. The 4G LTE-enabled Android tablet comes with a large 7,600mAh battery, which supports 15W fast charging capabilities.

The Galaxy Tab S7 FE is available at the starting price of Rs 46,999, while the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is being offered from Rs 11,999. They are available to buy on the brand’s website and e-commerce portals like Flipkart and Amazon India.
