Vivo has added another device in its Y series portfolio, with the new Vivo Y71T. The device has been released in China and comes with a plethora of new features including a waterdrop-style notch and a 20:9 AMOLED display, dual rear cameras, 44W fast charging, and an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC are also included in the Vivo Y71T. It comes in two colour options and has up to 256GB of inbuilt storage. A 64-megapixel primary camera, a five-layer liquid cooling system, and a 98 percent DCI-P3 broad colour gamut are among the other features of the Vivo Y71T.

Features of Vivo Y71T

The Vivo Y71T has a 6.44-inch full-HD+ (1,0802,400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 90.1 percent screen-to-body proportions and runs on Android 11 with OriginOS 1.0. The Vivo Y71T is equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC which is a first for the manufacturer, as well as a Mali-G57 GPU. To improve multitasking, the built-in RAM allows virtual expansion up to 4GB. The processor is paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage that can be upgraded via a microSD card slot. The handset is powered by a large 4,000mAh battery that also enables 44W rapid charging. Dual SIM support, 5G, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a USB Type C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and even face unlock are all included in the connection package.

The Vivo Y71t boasts a dual rear camera combination with a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens and an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide lens for photographs and movies. A 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor with an f/2.0 lens is also present on the front.

Price & Availability

In China, the Vivo Y71t is available in two variants: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. Both the versions are priced at CNY 1,799 (Rs 21,000) and CNY 1,999 (Rs 23,400) respectively. Mirage and Midnight Blue are the two colours available. There's no indication on whether or not the Y71t will be sold in India.
