Xiaomi Civi with 6.55 inch display launched; Specifications and more
Xiaomi launched Civi series smartphones in China on 27th September. This device has only one model and the pro models may be launched in the future. The newly launched device from Xiaomi matches its design from the Mi CC9 Pro. Xiaomi Civi series smartphones are powered by the Snapdragon 778G that was launched recently and very few phones have these inside them. It has four big Cortex A78 based cores and a high end Adreno 642L GPU. There are nine layers of graphene in the device that keeps it cool. The Adreno can boost performance without losing much image quality.
Xiaomi Civi smartphone: Specification
Xiaomi Civi smartphone features a 6.55 inches curved OLED display with a resolution of 1080 pixels with screen refresh rate of 120 Hz. The device supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision and has a brightness of 950 nits. It packs a Snapdragon 778G processor fabbed on TSMC’s 6 nm process. With four cores and 642L GPU, the device is fast enough to run games at 90 fps.
The camera at the back includes a 64 megapixels main sensor, an 8 megapixels Ultra Wide angle lens and lastly, a 2 megapixels macro camera. The selfie camera in this device is 32 megapixels with an autofocus lens.
The device has a good battery life with a capacity of 4500 maH and can last up to 24 hours. It supports 55W fast charging facility and charges in 45 minutes.
Moving on to the speakers, this smartphone packs stereo speakers with a Hi Res audio certification and stereo speakers. However, the device offers only a USB C port for headphone connection. There is X53 5G modem included that supports speed up to 3.3 Gbps and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity.
Xiaomi Civi smartphone is 7 mm thick and weighs 166 grams and is very comfortable to use with a width of 71.5 mm and soft touch matte finish on the back glass.
Xiaomi Civi smartphone: Price
The newly launched smartphone from Xiaomi will be available on various online and offline channels in China from 30th September. Out of the three variants, the 8 GB RAM and 128 GB one costs CNY 2600 that is Rs 30,000 in Indian Currency whereas the 8 GB RAM and 256 storage variant costs CNY 2900 which is roughly Rs 33,000 in Indian Currency. The third variant that has 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage capacity is priced at CNY 3200 which is Rs 36,586 approximately in Indian Currency.
