Baar Baar Dekho is a movie that portrays the journey of a couple through life's ups and downs. The story begins with the birth of Jai Verma and Diya Kapoor, in Delhi and London respectively. Later, Diya's family settles in Delhi, and over time, Jai and Diya grow up together and fall in love....
There are timeless love stories and then stories involving time travel. BBD belongs to the latter. Pleasant and fairly engaging but a tad tedious like mathematics to evoke a Baar Baar viewing. The foottapping kala chashma song in the end infuses that much required energy and zest into the film.
Baar Baar Dekho begins with a beautifully wrought summary of a grand romance Diya and Jai are born on different continents their paths cross in Delhi when they are eight they become best friends and the relationship deepens into love.
