Political stalwart and former Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs of India Arun Jaitley passed away at the age of 66 leaving the nation in shock. The sudden demise of the statesman struck the netizens with grief and agony, leaving the entire country moaning over the great loss. The minister had not been keeping well for a large part of the last two years and was in isolation after a kidney transplant surgery, last year in 2018. He had also undergone a bariatric surgery to address the excess weight he had put on due to diabetes. The political hero fought his ailments with a heart of steel and passed away this Saturday afternoon at AIIMS hospital in New Delhi.

As the Finance Minister, his contributions to the country have been unparalleled. Being the go-to man for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Arun Jaitley has served the nation like none other. Being a lawyer by profession, Arun Jaitley was a man of his words, aiding the country at every step pulling the economy out of the gloom and putting it back on the right track. 

His unexpected departure is a major setback for the country, an irreplaceable loss leaving a void in India's political history. The entire nation is lamenting over the misfortune. Bollywood celebrities too took to Twitter in order to convey their condolences.
