Ganesh Chaturthi which is also known as Vinayak Chaturthi is one of the famous and awaited festivals. And the same is just around the corner. This year, the festival falls on September 13. The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated to worship Lord Ganesh. As per Hindu Lunisolar calendar, the festival starts off on the fourth day of Bhadrapad month. Right from installing Ganesh idols to chanting hymns and bhajans to offering modaks and laddoos to preparing bhog the festival is full of fun and fervor.This 10-day festival is prominently celebrated in Maharashtra.
