January 26, 2019, marks India’s 70th Republic Day. Google Doodle has a unique way of celebrating India’s big day. The 3D Doodle impression boasts of our cultural legacy and heritage. Search Google and then you will see a doodle that has grand Rashtrapati Bhavan in the backdrop. G in green colour stands on a golf link, L has been represented by Delhi's Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It’s really an interesting way to give respect to the rich culture and diversity of India. Coming to the 4th G, it has an elephant and peacock placed and they both are the symbols of our country. 
 
Coming to the two 0s and E, they represent the handicrafts and the heritage of our county. This year, the chief guest for the 70th Republic day is Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa, the President of the Republic of South Africa and the Supreme Commander of the South African National Defence Force. Twenty-two tableaux of states and central government departments, and performances by school children will be part of the 90-minute parade.

Republic Day 2019 celebrations are held across the country. One of the major highlights of the day is the parade in the capital city of New Delhi. It will begin from Vijay Chowk and proceed towards the Red Fort grounds through the Rajpath, India Gate, Tilak Marg, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg and Netaji Subhash Marg.
