The Election Commission announced that the 17th Lok Sabha Elections will be held in seven phases and the same started off from April 11 and the results will be out on May 23. The elections will be held for 543 seats and nearly 10-lakh polling booths are selected. Apparently, around 90-crore voters can exercise their vote. As per Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora, Assembly Elections will be held in 4 states - Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Odisha along with the Lok Sabha Election 2019.

Phase 1 on April 11: 

Following states to have Lok Sabha Elections on April 11: Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Sikkim, Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Andaman and Lakshadweep.

Phase 2 on April 18: 

Polls will be held on April 18, 2019 in following states: Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Manipur and Puducherry.

Phase 3 on April 23:

Polls will be held on April 23 in the following states: Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Goa, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra and Daman and Diu.

Phase 4 on April 29: 

Polls will be held on April 29 in the following states: Maharashtra, Odisha, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh.

Phase 5 on May 6:

Polls will be held on May 6 in following states:  Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand and West Bengal.

Phase 6 on May 12: 
Polls will be held on May 12 in following states: Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi-NCR, Bihar, Haryana, Jharkhand and West Bengal.

Phase 7 on May 19:
Polls will be held on May 19 in following states: Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab,  Chandigarh (UT), Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and Hima
