Fountain works only when you chant OM? Here's truth about the viral video
A viral post on Facebook claims that a natural fountain shoots up in the sky when someone chants OM. In the viral video, we can see how a girl says OM in a mic, and soon, the fountain rises up. As per social media users, the video is located somewhere Thailand and they also believe that it was made by a Buddhist and it can only rise when one chants OM.
And now, as per India Today's report, the same is not true. The publication report that the video is not from Thailand but North China. They also claim that the fountain is not a natural one but a voice-controlled sound fountain. The artificial fountain springs up not by the sound of OM but by making any loud sound.
The report also suggested that the sound fountain is located in Buddha caves in China and is made by the Himalaya Music Company. The report read that a YouTube channel called 'New China TV' had uploaded several videos of the sound fountains and claimed that the video was shot in the Cangshan Mountain in North China's Shanxi Province. For the unversed, New China TV is the official YouTube channel of Chinese News Agency Xinhua News.
"Shout fountain or voice-controlled is installed with a voice control system. When people input sound through a microphone, the sound is converted to signals and passed to the control system, finally to control the water spray heightbycontrol system," the YouTube channel of Himalaya Music Fountain read.
