The Big Bang Theory is going to come to an end with its 12th and final season.

The popular television series The Big Bang Theory is about to come to an end soon which has made the cast and crew members decide regarding which items they will be taking home from the sets of the show once they wrap up their filming process. 33 year old actress Kaley Cuoco who plays the character of Penny in The Big Bang Theory, has also decided the beloved item that she will be taking home post wrapping up her shoot at the sets of the show. Kaley revealed that she wants to take away the picture of the two robots fighting which hangs on a particular door in Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Leonard's (Johnny Galecki) apartment. It was announced in August 2018 that The Big Bang Theory series is finally going to end. The ending of the series was decided by the producers of the show because Jim Parsons who plays the role of Sheldon Cooper decided not to conitinue with the show anymore. 

The famous show is going off - air after its 12th and final season which premiered on September 24, 2018. The Big Bang Theory which has been produced by Bill Prady and Chuck Lorre happens to be one of the most successful television series of all times. The show was officially premiered on September 24, 2007. Although the first season of the show received mixed reviews from the audience and the critics, it gradually started picking up the pace with its upcoming seasons. The show stars Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, Melissa Rauch and Mayim Bialik in the lead roles. The series is mostly focused on the theme of science and most of the times the characters of the show are seen making science - related jokes or bantering about various scientific theories and news. As the show is made on the theme of science, many real life high profile and popular scientists have made guest appearances on the show. In fact, the famous cosmologist Stephen Hawkings also made a short guest appearance in the fifth and the eighth season of the show.
