The ongoing farmers' protest has the world's attention. Last night, international singer Rihanna took to Twitter and reacted to the recent developments of the protest. Following her tweet, activist Greta Thunberg also extended her support towards the protest. Now, Lebanese-American media personality, and former pornographic actress Mia Khalifa has shown her support towards the protest. Mia took to Twitter and shared a picture from the protest and asked, "What in the human rights violations is going on?! They cut the internet around New Delhi?!" 

She went on to share another tweet where she revealed she stands in support of the protest. "“Paid actors,” huh? Quite the casting director, I hope they’re not overlooked during awards season. I stand with the farmers. #FarmersProtest," her tweet read. She shared the tweet with another picture from the protest. Check out the tweets below:

Meanwhile, Rihanna's support has been welcomed by several Indian celebrities. This includes Diljit Dosanjh, who has been expressing his views on the protest on social media for weeks now. The actor shared a picture of Rihanna on his Instagram Stories and added the clip of her song, Run This Town. He took to Twitter and wrote, "Diljit also shared a Punjabi proverb on Twitter and wrote: "Jaat Di Kohr Kirli, Shateeriyan Nu Jaffe... (which translates to 'your status in life is rather insignificant but you know how to talk big' in English)."

Apart from Diljit, stars like Richa Chadha, Shibani Dandekar and director Hansal Mehta have also supported Rihanna's tweet. Stay tuned to Pinkvilla for more updates.
