Rappers Wiz Khalifa and Currensy finally unveil long awaited joint project titled '2009'

Taking to Instagram, Wiz shared a list of all the songs that will feature in the '2009' album. It spans 14 tracks with assists by fellow rappers Ty Dolla Sign and Problem.

Rappers Wiz Khalifa and Currensy recently came together and reconnected for "2009", a full-length collaborative project that was announced nearly four years ago, reported a US-based website complex.com. According to the report, Wiz had confirmed the project during an appearance in December 2018, but didn’t unveil 2009’s official track list until this week. Taking to Instagram, Wiz shared a list of all the songs that will feature in the '2009' album. The project will have Wiz and Currensy’s How Fly (2009) and their 2013 Live in Concert EP. It spans 14 tracks with assists by fellow rappers Ty Dolla Sign and Problem, reported complex. 

The report further added that Wiz Khalifa and Currensy will soon kick-off the project's supporting tour. The tour will include stops in Portland, Chicago, Detroit, and New Orleans, with the final stop taking place March 4 in San Antonio. The duo is also expected to hit the stage at music festival Rolling Loud Miami in May 2019.

“I said that I was going to do an R&B album,” he told LA Leakers, “but I think I’m just going to drop some like dope ass player s**t,” said Wiz Khalifa in December.
