Model-influencer Akanksha Choudhary became a fan favorite after her controversial stint in Splitsvilla 16. While she failed to win the title, she was able to garner a strong social media following online. Now, she is set to return to the reality TV space with Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa (Season 2). While talking about her mental health struggles in her last show, Akanksha also vowed to show her 3.0 version in the upcoming television drama. Read on!

Following her highly publicised and turbulent stint on Splitsvilla 16, Akanksha Choudhary has officially entered confinement as a confirmed inmate on Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa.

Recently, she opened up about how the intense scrutiny, name-calling, and unresolved allegations from her previous show severely impacted her mental well-being. Calling Lock Upp 2 her ultimate shot at redemption, the diva told IANS, “I feel in my last reality show, there were many allegations that were not cleared.”

She added, “My fans are waiting for answers, and I feel Lock Upp: Sach ya Sazaa will give me that space to do that. These allegations affected my mental health.”

Unlike her previous reality TV stint, where she overplotted her moves, Akanksha is entering the Lock Upp barracks with a completely different mindset. She has deliberately chosen to leave strategy at the door, hoping a blank slate will bring out her most authentic self.

The model expressed, “My last show taught me not to over-prepare. I will show Akanksha 3.0 in this show. I know there will be a lot of madness, but I know that I will enjoy it. Everyone is advising on strategy, but I aim to go in with a blank mind. This time, I am going only to win and come back.”

The stakes are extraordinarily high for Akanksha this season. In a move that has already set social media ablaze, Yogesh Rawat is also a confirmed inmate inside the show. With the two ex-connections trapped under the same roof for six weeks, the audience is expecting a high dose of drama, emotional turmoil, and a lot of entertainment.

Hosted by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa streams from June 27, 2026, on Netflix.
