Kushal Tandon on being called a narcissist
Kunal Kemmu-hosted reality TV show Alliance has been successfully entertaining the audience. However, it’s actor Kushal Tandon who has been making headlines outside by making controversial statements inside the headquarters.
During a conversation with his fellow contestants on the show, Tandon commented on his experiences with breakups, stating, “Jab ladkiyan mujhe date karti hain aur shaadi nahi kar pati toh mujhe narcissist bulati hain (When women date me and are unable to marry me, they call me a narcissist).”
The remark quickly gained traction on social media, igniting a flurry of reactions from viewers. While some supporters perceive the comment as the actor being unfiltered about his personal experiences, others have criticized his choice of words as disrespectful.
Kushal Tandon has frequently been in the headlines throughout his journey on Alliance. This latest incident is not the first time his comments about ex-girlfriends have stirred controversy.
Earlier in the season, a separate clip involving Tandon and fellow contestant Zaid Darbar sparked outrage online. In the clip, the pair were seen working out, during which Tandon commented that many viewers felt it was an indirect and insensitive jab at his former partner, Gauahar Khan. That particular incident led to significant backlash, with many social media users calling out the actor for his behaviour.
Recently, he was also called out by social media personality Uorfi Javed after he allegedly targeted her sister Dollyy Javved on the show. The Splitsvilla 16 mischief maker also called Tandon ‘entitled’.
While other contestants are doing their best to survive in the show, all eyes are currently on Sohail Khan, who made his OTT debut by participating in the reality TV series for the first time.
