Ever since stand-up comedian Samay Raina announced the highly anticipated return of his show, India’s Got Latent Season 2, the internet has been buzzing with wild guesses of who the first guests would be. But when glimpses of Alia Bhatt and Sharwari Wagh attending the show went viral, fans couldn’t believe their eyes.
Did Alia Bhatt and Sharvari attend India’s Got Latent Season 2?
During his recent stand-up special, Still Alive, Samay Raina announced the return of India’s Got Latent Season 2. Now, a leaked, behind-the-scenes picture from the very first episode’s shoot has gone viral. It features none other than Bollywood A-listers, Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh, on the judging panel.
The duo allegedly shot the premiering episode to promote their upcoming YRF Spy Universe action-thriller, Alpha. In the snapshot, the Gangubai Kathiawadi actress kept it casual, sporting a grey t-shirt and a black cap while holding a microphone. Seated right next to her is her Alpha co-star, Sharvari.
The actress duo joined comedian Aashish Solanki and Balraj Singh Ghai on the panel. As soon as the picture hit social media, internet users were divided, with many alleging the show will lose its soul if Bollywood celebs start promoting their films on it. However, some claimed that the images are AI-generated.
A user also mentioned, “Why are people forcefully linking Alia Bhatt to the show India's Got Latent when even Grok and ChatGPT are saying it’s fake and AI-generated? Then why is there so much hype around it? After seeing all these rumours spreading everywhere, I’m starting to feel like maybe Alia Bhatt might actually make an entry in the show someday.”
On the work front, Alia and Sharvari will be sharing the screen in Alpha. Directed by Shiv Rawail and produced by Aditya Chopra, the upcoming actioner marks YRF’s very first female-led spy drama. The film promises high-octane action sequences featuring the female actresses, alongside Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor. Alpha is scheduled to hit theatres on July 10, 2026.
