Did Samay Raina offer Rs 25 lakh to Sunil Pal to appear in India's Got Latent 2? Here’s what we know
After a heated feud between Samay Raina and Sunil Pal, the senior comedian admitted that he was invited to India's Got Latent 2 and even offered a hefty sum for his stint.
The bitter feud between veteran comedian Sunil Pal and internet sensation Samay Raina has reached a staggering new dimension. In a fresh revelation, Sunil has claimed he was offered a whopping Rs 25 lakh to make an appearance on the reality show India’s Got Latent Season 2.

The veteran comic, a longtime and vocal critic of the modern roasting culture, Sunil Pal has consistently slammed India’s Got Latent’s format for its use of explicit language. However, while addressing the paparazzi in Mumbai, the Great Indian Laughter Challenge winner recalled the exact conversation he allegedly had with Samay Raina regarding the high-profile invitation.
According to Sunil Pal, the monetary offer was massive, but the fact that he won’t abuse on the OTT show remained non-negotiable. Pal told the media, “Usne baat ki toh Rs 25 lakh dene ki, lekin maine kaha, 'Main gaali nahi dunga.' Usne kaha, 'Sir, gaali aap mat dena, lekin baaki sab toh denge/hum log sab denge.'" (He talked about paying me Rs 25 lakh, but I told him, ‘I won't use abusive language.’ He replied, ‘Sir, you don't have to use swear words, but everyone else will anyway').”
During the interaction, photographers pointed out to Pal that major Bollywood stars like Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, who appeared as the guests for the grand premiere of Season 2 to promote their film Alpha, also refrained from using any explicit language.
True to his style, Sunil Pal wasn't buying the justification and took a sharp, poetic dig at Alia Bhatt instead. The bad blood between Sunil Pal and Samay Raina isn't new. It allegedly ignited back in 2025 during the first season of India's Got Latent, where Pal went as far as to claim that certain modern stand-up comedians should be reprimanded for spreading vulgarity.
Samay later fired back during his Still Alive act, labelling Pal as ‘insecure and frustrated’. The rivalry was recently reignited during the launch of Season 2 on Netflix and YouTube, where Samay brought back his viral joke targeting Pal.
