Is it already over for the ultimate power couple of Splitsvilla 16, Gullu and Kaira? Just weeks after lifting the coveted trophy and walking away with the prize money, Kushal Tanwar (popularly known as Gullu) and Kaira Anu have sent shockwaves through their massive fandom. The duo has allegedly unfollowed each other on Instagram, leaving fans wondering if they’re no longer an ‘ideal match’. Read on!
Have Gullu and Kaira unfollowed each other?
Be it inside the Splitsvilla 16 villa or in the outside world, Gullu and Kaira Anu continued to entertain the audience with their fun bond. But seems like their relationship came with an expiry date.
Recently, eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice that Kaira and Gullu are no longer part of each other’s follower lists. Adding fuel to the fire, some pointed out that a handful of their collaboration videos and lovey-dovey reels have suddenly vanished from their respective Instagram feeds.
For a couple that was constantly painting the town red with their romantic and funny videos and riding on their post-show hype, this sudden change has raised many eyebrows. A user wrote, “What happened between Kaira & Gullu??.....I really love them together...their"Guzara" song is also so nice...chemistry bht achhi thi....kya hogya hai.”
Another opined, “Tbh in the show as well as outside it was just for views nothing real like sorab and Niharika.” “Ohh plz both were cloutchasers. Nd don't forget both of them supported cheating,” expressed an X user.
It was only last month that the duo defeated fellow finalists such as Yogesh Rawat-Ruru Thakur, Sorab Bedi-Niharika Tiwari, to claim the Splitsvilla 16 title. At the time, an emotional Kaira had expressed how unreal it felt to win the show with Gullu, praising how they stayed strong through the emotional highs and lows of the game.
While industry buzz suggests that since the show is over, Gullu will no longer be running behind to make up with Kiara, neither of them has officially released a statement regarding their current relationship status.
