Filming is currently underway in the scenic landscapes of Cape Town, South Africa, where host Rohit Shetty is pushing celebrities to their absolute limits. While performing the demanding stunts, popular TV actor Rithvik Dhanjani sustained an injury.

Popular TV actor Rithvik Dhanjani is no stranger to Khatron Ke Khiladi, as this season marks his third time on the show. Unfortunately, the unpredictable nature of the reality TV series caught up with him during a recent task in Cape Town, reported News18.
An insider close to the update informed the publication that the Yeh Hai Aashiqui actor suffered severe burns while performing a fire stunt. The source stated, “Rithvik was performing a fire stunt in which he had a very bad burn injury. While he continued and completed the stunt, the injury is quite bad, though he has kept a brave face on.”
Given the show's rigorous safety protocols and specialized medical teams on standby, he was immediately attended to by on-set doctors. Despite the minor setback, Rithvik’s never-give-up attitude remains unshaken. Even though he was advised to take it slow, the actor didn’t let the injury affect his performance.
After taking a brief sabbatical last year, Khatron Ke Khiladi is back with a vengeance for Season 15. Action maestro Rohit Shetty promised fans that this season is going to be crazy.

Season 15 features an exciting blend of fresh faces like Gaurav Khanna, Farrhana Bhatt, Orhan Awatramani (Orry), Harsh Gujral, Avinash Mishra, Shagun Sharma. They’re joined by seasoned veterans Rithvik Dhanjani, Karan Wahi, Rubina Dilaik, Jasmin Bhasin, Avika Gor, and Vishal Aditya Singh. Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 is expected to air in mid-July 2026.
